Class Description: Topic: : Managing the Insider Risk Topic Description: Often times companies tend to minimize the impact and risk exposure when it comes to the corporate 'insider'. This is a commonly overlooked element of security that can have widespread, and costly implications. Managing people and the risk they pose has become just as, if not more, important than managing technology. We'll take a look at trends we see in the market and areas of focus to reducing threats from the inside. Speaker: Todd Lefkowits, VP Global Services, RAPID7 Speaker Bio: As Rapid7's Vice President of Global Services, Todd oversees the Deployment, Training, Assessment and Managed Service functions. He joined Rapid7 in 2013 bringing with him more than 14 years of Services experience and more than 12 years of Security experience. Prior to Rapid7, Todd worked at Symantec, @stake, and the Sapient Corporation where he held positions in Program Management, Engineering, Education/Training Services, and Consulting. Most recently Todd managed RSA's worldwide Education Services division. As an industry thought leader, he has received media coverage from DMReview, ZDNet, and Enterprise Innovator. Todd is also a contributing author to The Hacker's Challenge 3 (McGrawHill Osbourne).
