Class Description:
This is an fabulous class on how to use pottery, china, and more to create delicate flowers. We will experiment with different methods and refer to some Solange Piffer's techniques. Two adhesive methods will be presented, as well as the technique to build the flowers, in the first two classes. The last class will focus on stems, leaves, composition, and backgrounds.

Optional:

*class kit-thinset (adhesive), putty, and multi-color bag of crockery. The kit contains what is needed to make the flowers only. You will be instructed in class how to utilize the flowers to create a finished piece. You can place the flowers on flower pots, in a picture frame, or another option of your choice. You will be responsible to purchase those finishing items (frames, plant pots, 1/2 cups) independently.

-$20 for studio pick-up
-$30 to mail in the continental US (this option)

Required:

-wheeled nippers ($20 if you would like to purchase them, contact Cheryl if you would like them included in your kit)
-goggles
-gloves

Safety information:

-Small children should not be near the glass/pottery/china
-With professional supervision on my studio, I allow children ages 8 and up to cut the glass. This is up to your discretion but children
require close supervision at all times, as some pieces are sharp.
-Vacuum thoroughly during and after project completion, small glass shards could scatter in the area
-In the class you will learn to use wheeled nippers. There are many glass cutting tools. If you have other glass cutting tools, please research and practice using them before class. Scoring tools do not work for this technique.

Before I purchase this video/kit I agree that have I read, understand and will follow typical safety precautions, including those written above regarding breaking glass. I am aware that I am using adhesives and other potentially dangerous items, and will use a mask and gloves when recommended.
